Looks like I might be the first to post a 2015 sailing of Sagitta, but we are booked an anxious! Anyone else on Sagitta February 1st?

We signed up for Sagitta, back-to-back, for Feb 8th, 2015 back in January.

We miss you by a week. We can still hook up near the dock somewhere for a drink on Sat the 7th...

Notice: We are looking for any of the 1998 Poly Killer Bee Krewe. If you were there, contact me at admin@tsparks.com. We are heading to Sunshines again and would love to have you sail with us again!!

Hey Tom glad you and Kathy are sailing. It will definitely bring back a lot of memories. Cheers to the Killer Bee Krewe - you and Kathy, Tuck and I, Mary Mack, Vidette, Boomer, Dellie, Linda (from MA or NH; had Lyme's Disease), Kathy 1, Caroline, Mike Anacki. I just looked at the pictures and have no idea who else was part of the Killer Bee Krewe.

Alright, under 30 days now... getting ready to go! jacquie

Never been to Sunshine's, but that sounds like the place to go on Nevis. Will try it! Any other suggestions for Nevis?

Personal opinion; the killer bees are an over-rated and overpriced drink. The guys on board make MUCH better concoctions. That said, it is unfortunate that they can't bring the beach bar ashore until snack time, so bring cash for whatever libations you wish to consume.

If you go down beach to the stone breakwaters that you can see from Sunshine's and snorkle between them and the shoreline, the snorkling is good and you are very likely to find turtles, small rays and lots of schools of fish to enjoy.

I agree about the good snorkeling by the stone breakwater. It's definitely worth taking your snorkel gear ashore.

Killer bees - yes, maybe a bit over priced, but you can't go to Nevis and not have one, or 2..... And then watch out!

Thank you both, Saucy and Kathy. We enjoy both snorkeling and diving, so will take the snorkeling gear ashore, along with a camera, and see how it goes!

If you don't remember your snorkel gear, or you don't have room for it in your luggage, the ship provides it free of charge!

Thanks Octoberbabe. Good info, may just bring the snorkels and masks, if there are fins onboard.

Got the boarding info last night! Gettin' close now. Excitement builds!

If you are going to spend some time at Sunshines, take some cash for the "chair guy". He really does "work" for Sunshines and will bring you a lounge chair for sitting on the beach. Killer Bee's are not what they use to be, but they are a tradition. cocktail

Next time I am in Nevis, I am going to take the Plantation tour and lunch, folks that did that gave it high marks. And still plenty of time to spend on beach at Sunshines!
