Ryan, took a quick pass through your blog. Always good to have an area specialist in the mix. Looking forward to visiting with you.

Bonnie and Harry, we live just on the north edge of Austin. Two grandprincesses in town brought us in from Blanco a few years ago. Seven ice "events" this winter, and you know how Texans on ice are.

Got our boarding passes printed out. Anne has already done two practice packs. Is this a woman thing?

Ed, we retired and moved from Round Rock (Harry - IBM; me - Infoglide, a now-defunct startup). I remember a couple of ice storms (we lived in RR from 1998 to 2006), but not what I'm seeing in the news for this year! Yuck! Ice and driving in Austin - I remember the old bridge on N. Capital of Texas Hwy icing up, and the road crew hand shoveling about 6" of sand on it - it was a mess for months after ... but at least you have CentralMarket ...

Keith and Cathy from AL with our life story as well- I am 55 and she is approx. 39! I am a pharmacist and she is a chemist. Both are AUBURN alums and we consider "Sweet Home Alabama" to be the redneck national anthem. Cant wait to meet everyone; with all of the retired military brass on board this cruise should be orderly and efficient! I am ready to head into the aquatic "wild blue yonder".

Just looked up time for St. Maarten - it's the same as here in FL ( we're on daylight savings time, Eastern - EDT) - I was counting on sunrise being an hour later, guess I'll be getting up at 6:30 AM (or I'll let Harry describe the beautiful sunrises to me :D ).
