I love St. Lucia. heartbeat Hope you plan to spend a little time on island before you board Sagitta. There's so much to see and do.

Hey Octoberbabe!

Actually only been to Soufrière for a few hours many moons ago on an old WBC/Poly trip.

So, I'd love to hear any suggestions if you care to share some - island tour type deals or whatever ?!

Cheers!

Greetings from Texas! We just booked our trip on the Sagitta on 8/15 for the three of us - me, my husband, and our 10yo daughter. We are all so excited about the trip. It's our first cruise of this type. Looking forward to "meeting" the rest of the passengers thru the forum.

We just left St. Lucia on Friday! We enjoyed the surfer/mud baths followed by a tour of the botanical gardens. Other passengers went on the zip line and said that was really fun as well. Lots of stuff to do in St. Lucia, it is a beautiful island.

... just from Google Earth sure looks like it, getting a car at UVF so maybe take that in on way to Rodney Bay.

Also do you or anyone else have a recommendation for a good view of Les Pitons from altitude like in this shot ?

Thanks!

There is a fabulous hotel up in the mountains just between the two Pitons. It's extremely pricey to stay there but a great place to stop for a drink at sunset....

You can also take a tour of the rooms if there is time. I have stopped there several times during taxi tours...

The pic you show above looks like it's taken from the air. I don't know of any mountains that would show that view. It is spectacular.
