It looks as though many of you carry iPads/Kindles/Nooks on your WJ trips - we've been worried about damaging ours with salt-water spray?? Is this a problem?

I was thinking of bringing my (very old, original model) Kindle - but I do love my new iPad ...

Also bringing my iPhone (it has a very necessary app of white noise for sleeping😳) - are there any problems with charging electronics in your room?

I love reading the book recommendations - several authors I'll have to try.

Not a problem charging these items... cabins use 110v. But I would highly recommend waterproof protection for your electronic equipment, such as cameras, phones, tablets, etc. Without it, you take the risk of damage from sand or water... and saltwater will definitely kill it.

I hate to say it, but I'm speaking from experience.

We have just returned from trip on the Sagitta and I took my Kindle and IPad and hubby took his IPhone, no problems at all with charging and happy to report no damage to any electronic gear. Took Kindle to beach with no saltwater problems. Also took very expensive Nikon camera everywhere and it survived!
