packing bags and just looked at the marine traffic web site. See Vela is at the Soggy Bar this afternoon. Other trips I made they would stop for few hours at White Beach and then head to Foxy for the evening. It is a short trip to Foxy's from soggy Dollar and they normally stay at anchor there for the night. Great place to kick up your feet and splice the main brace. see you all real soon. leaving sat morning. will be landing in St Thomas @1330 and take the next ferry to Tortola. Paul

Hey Paul...and everyone sailing with you...hope you have an awesome time! I'll just be arriving in Road Town the morning you're disembarking Vela. Looking forward to your trip report!

saw on marine traffic this morning that Vela left Jost Van dyke and is now at Norman Island . swimming the caves is super great. Glad she is there early. Might miss most of the cruise ship crowds. Hope she hits another island before heading to Roadstown tonight. somewhat disappoint that she didn't stop at Sandy split, sandy Cay or Green Cay. May next week when she has more time in BVI. I am almost packed for leaving tomorrow. Maybe one post and then I am gone.

Texas girl/Kris: enjoy your week . who knows maybe next time we will get together. :)

Congrats to all of you who got to step on Vela's deck today!

I finally was able to complete flights and hotel pre- and post- sail arrangements, so I hope to meet all of you next Saturday or Sunday when you disembark.

I will actually be staying in St. Thomas both Friday AND Saturday nights and plan to catch the ferry to Tortola on Sunday morning.

Post sail, I would like to stay one night in Tortola (no hotel picked yet), but will spend Sunday night post cruise back in St. Thomas, before flying out Monday.

Take good care of the ship and her crew! If you don't .... there will be HELL to pay! ARRGGHHH!

For some reason I can never find her on the marine traffic site. Am I doing something wrong?

Donna
