Been to Mayreau on many occasions and do not recognize this. Repoint my compass. My thoughts are it is the southwestern tip of the island where we dock for the cultural tour or Saltwhistle Bay. hammock

Then on Mayreau I have a tendency to either be at the Mayreau Government School or intoxicated by an Islander Bar Tequila Sunrise cocktail which a certain spouse bought for me on an near empty stomach and the walk/roll down the hill to the nude beach which I don't think even exists anymore. A group of very expensive houses were to be built there. Did they ever get built? I'm still feeling the ramifications of that libation. shark

Spent this evening at a Masonic Festive Board. Tame compared to Grenadian standards. Here we made seven toasts with wine in a shot glass ending each with a thrice cheer of Vivant, Vivant, Vivant! The toasts started with one to the President of the US and then on down to our last one honoring our armed forces and first responders. With excellent Chinese food to accommodate our Jewish brothers in attendance during their high holy days and a very good guest speaker I had a very enjoyable evening.

In Grenada I was picked up at the Allamanda, driven to their lodge overlooking the Carenage and plied with either Scotch or Rum and a platter full of the local delicacies. Those isalnders can drink, whew!

The toasts included one to the Queen & added one to the President of the US because of my attendance ... a total of 7 toasts in all. Somewhere around the fourth toast suit coats, and ties were removed. I'm glad I was chauffeured. A great and memorable evening.

I look forward to beginning my travels soon to the islands and beyond. It is time to travel again.

Bus in Domenico.
On almost every visit to the island I took a picture of the bus.
Not much changed over the years.
The bus is in the botanical gardens.

Fred,
If you are facing the land it is at the far right and is truly the last place before the jungle. Some good laughs hanging on the wall.

Tim, I remember a bus twisted around a trunk and the roots swallowing it.
